Relax and let the stress of the everyday melt away the second you step into this newly remodeled home only steps from Destin’s beautiful Crystal Beach. The home is immaculately designed in an upscale nautical theme and is filled with every amenity you can think of—large private pool, chef’s kitchen, firepit, Weber gas grill, and numerous other entertaining spaces.
The home comfortably sleeps 17+ with 3000 square feet, 5 bedrooms, and 4.5 bathrooms—there’s room for the whole and extended family!
A calming color palette, open concept, and modern design will invite you inside the second you step across the massive front porch and open the front door of this unique beachside home. You’ll immediately notice that every aspect has been thoughtfully designed for your ultimate comfort and enjoyment and to ensure the ease and convenience of your vacation. Stone flooring runs throughout the main level, bringing cohesiveness to the space.
The chefs in the family will likely gravitate to the bright, modern kitchen. High-end stainless steel appliances, all the cooking essentials, and endless quartz countertops make preparing an elaborate meal a breeze. You’ll also find a fully-stocked coffee station (essential before your day of exploring the best part of Destin). The living room is immediately adjacent to the kitchen, so you can remain in the action while you cook or just grab a snack or a drink. Once the food is ready, you can dine at the shiplap-wrapped peninsula/breakfast bar that seats six, or the dining table with a gorgeous chandelier overhead that seats at least 10. ( There are also plenty of outdoor dining areas, but we’ll get to that!)
The living room comes with a large, plush sectional, gorgeous accents, and a refined boho flair. The large flatscreen smart TV is mounted above the electric fireplace on a shiplap accent wall. It’s the perfect spot to settle in with a favorite beverage for movie or game night after a day on the beach.
Just off the living room, French doors open to the pièce de résistance—the backyard. With a large private pool (with optional heating for a fee), a wood burning fire pit built into a lovely stone patio and surrounded by Adirondack chairs, a propane Weber grill, comfortable lounge chairs, and two separate dining areas on a large deck, you could spend your entire vacation there and be totally content. String lights overhead give the space a stunning nighttime ambiance, but day or night, it has a fun and leisurely vibe that makes it easy for family and friends to reconnect.
There’s also a game room just off the main level. On nice days, open the garage door and let in the fresh air while you play ping pong, foosball or play games on the Ultimate Arcade (300 Games). Catch your favorite sports team on the large, mounted flatscreen smart TV. There’s also a pub table for spectators or snack breaks. The fridge / freezer in the garage can store your fishing catch! There are truly so many spaces to make memories with those you love!
Upstairs was made for rest and serenity. Each of the five bedrooms is spacious, immensely comfortable, and beautifully designed, but the master suite takes the crown as a true sanctuary. A king bed with premium linens (which you’ll find on all of the beds), a seating area and office nook, French door access to the side deck, and the master bathroom are just a few highlights. After an evening in this room, you’ll be refreshed and ready for another active day, and you’ll probably want to sleep in. In the master bathroom, you’ll find a high-end double vanity, a soaker tub, and a separate stand-up shower.
The remaining bedrooms fit plenty of sleeping space and storage into comfortable layouts that allow for everyone to spread out.
The home’s four and a half bathrooms come with hotel-quality soaps and towels, and ensure everyone has plenty of space to get ready for a day or night out.
The Neighborhood:
Stingray Getaway is just a few minutes drive from all that Destin has to offer, including all the shopping at Destin Commons, go-kart rentals, dolphin cruises, charter fishing, parasailing, Big Kahuna's Water Park, The Track Family Fun Center, and the Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Crystal Beach is a terrific residential area, yet close to restaurants and activities in Destin.
Convenient to restaurants such as the award-winning 790 Inn on the Gulf, or Sarah K's Gourmet, get your fro-yo on at U- Twirl Frozen Yogurt or learn how to ride the waves at All-A Board Surf School. Several outstanding restaurants are close by, including one of the most highly regarded in Destin, ' The 790 Cafe' located at The Inn at Crystal Beach and ' Beachwalk Cafe', rated one of Destin's best by Florida Trend Magazine.
Getting Around:
There is plenty of parking for 3 full size or 3-4 full to mid-size vehicles in the driveway (no more than four vehicles are permitted). We recommend you carpool to bring the minimum number of vehicles possible, as Destin gets very busy in the summer. NO parking on the grass, streets, or sidewalks. Any illegally parked cars are subject to fines and towing. Any fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Our neighborhood does not permit trailers of any kind.
Other Things to Note:
Due to our cleaner's schedule and guest check out times we are typically unable to accommodate an early check-in or late check-out.
GOLF CART:
For 2024 reservations and stays we are offering our brand new 6 Seater Lithium Ion Electric Lifted cart. It as LED underbody glow lights and Exo Gear Sound system to ensure you enjoy cruising around Destin! Golf carts make it super easy and fun to get around – explore the area in style with the many beach spots and restaurants along Scenic Hwy 98 including near by Destin Commons! As a valued guest of Stingray Getaway we are excited to add this amazing amenity for your use. Please note that a Digital Liability Waiver with proof of insurance and Credit Card for damages must be signed prior to arrival.
BEACH CRUISER BIKES:
Our four beach cruiser bikes are perfect for soaking in the sun and enjoying the gentle ocean breeze. Feel the freedom as you pedal along the coastline, exploring nearby trails or venturing to the nearby shops. Our beach cruiser bikes are designed for both comfort and style, ensuring a delightful experience for riders. Guests ride at their own risk and should bring their own safety helmets. Since these are complimentary we cannot guarantee all bikes are available for every booking.
BEACH ACCESS:
Beach Trails / Public Beach Access: Barracuda, Crystal Beach, Pompano and Tarpon access points all within 5-10 Minutes walk. Beach Service typically operate at these locations and is available from 1 March thru 31 October – Umbrellas and beach chairs are available for booking via Twilight Beach Service or at the beach from the attendant
Public Beaches:
1. Shore at Crystal Beach Park (approximately 65 feet, 9 parking spaces, restrooms, showers and a covered picnic area).
2. Henderson Beach is a state park that boasts over a mile of beach that charges a daily admission fee. The park has over 300 parking spaces, beach wheelchairs, covered picnic pavilions, restroom facilities, grills, accessible campsites and parking.
3. James Lee Park is a county beach park with over a quarter of a mile of beach near the Walton/ Okaloosa County line. This park has 3 pavilions, 41 picnic tables, 9 dune walkovers, a playground, restrooms with changing rooms, showers and over 100 parking spaces.

POOL:
Large private swimming pool ( Size: 22x11ft). Guests must request that the pool be heated. Pool heating is $300 per stay/week with request and payment to be made within 48 hours after booking.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
– Absolutely no animals of any kind no exceptions due to allergies of owners children
– Please understand, we are in close proximity to open areas, the beach, and Henderson Beach State Park. You might see or encounter wildlife while in our home or neighborhood, including, but not limited to: lizards, raccoon, opossums, birds, bees, wasps, mosquitoes, spiders, ants, crickets, palmetto bugs, tree roaches, rolly pollies, and silver fish to name a few. These creatures reside in nature, and we have no control over them. We do spray in and around the home regularly to reduce incidences of bugs. However, we cannot control mother nature, and therefore, please do not request a refund if you encounter her business during your stay.

– Please do not rearrange furniture inside the home
– No late check-out or early check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $50.00 dollars for the first half hour and $100.00 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property. – Please utilize the digital property guide that will be sent on the message thread few days before you check-in.
-We do not offer any type of refund for any reason at all, and by agreeing to these rules you acknowledge this. We strongly recommend purchasing additional rental/travel insurance for your peace of mind if something were to alter your trip. Renter must promptly disclose any known or suspected issues with the home.
-Any issues found after checkout that were not disclosed, tenants may be held accountable & could potentially be a charge of security deposit. Any house rules violated is subject to loss of security deposit.
– The pool is USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. The hosts are NOT responsible for any injuries that result from the use of the swimming pool.
All prices strictly reflect ( 17 persons or less. Any more people will cost as website states. It will be considered a breach of contract if extra or unpaid guests are found on the property. Immediate eviction can be expected of total group and all money will be forfeited. Below is the Florida statute: 509.151 Obtaining food or lodging with intent to defraud; penalty.— (1) Any person who obtains food, lodging, or other accommodations having a value of less than $300 at any public food service establishment, or at any transient establishment, with intent to defraud the operator thereof, is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 (lsenate gov Laws Statutes 2011/775.082) or s. 775.083 flsenate gov Laws Statutes 2011/775.083; if such food, lodging, or other accommodations have a value of $300 or more, such person is guilty of a felony of the third degree, punishable as provided in s. 775.082 (flsenate gov Laws Statutes/2011/775.082), s. 775.083 (flsenate gov Laws Statutes 2011/775.083), or s. 775.084 (flsenate gov Laws Statutes 2011/775.0840).
